A
native New Yorker, Charlie White moved to Nashville in 1991 and quickly
became an in-demand sideman touring with the likes of Pam Tillis, Vern
Gosdin, Michelle Wright and other Nashville luminaries. In 1998, White
signed to publisher, Windswept Pacific, and soon landed a recording
contract with Asylum Records as half of the duo, The Voltaires.
He toured for six years as a member of Highway 101 before deciding
to concentrate his efforts in the studio. As a producer, he has shaped
the sounds of some highly praised recordings from Kevin Welch, Mike
Henderson, Marcus Hummon and most recently Brad Colerick.
