My name is Julia Lopez and I became disabled in September of 2007. I received Medicaid until my disability was approved. Now, income from my disability check is too high to qualify me for any type of medical benefits from the government until November of 2008. I can no longer see a physician or buy my medications because I cannot afford it. People really need to speak out and take a stand so that everyone can have affordable medical care.
