Being uninsured.. I am happy to share my story. I have suffered from anxiety and depression all my life and it has limited my working ability as I also suffer from IBS. Although I have applied everywhere, I cannot get health insurance. I've heard every reason for rejection from my alimony payment being too high to, of course, pre-existing conditions. I am 58 years old, so what do I do until I reach the Medicare age? I have to pay out of pocket for doctor visits, tests, and blood work on a payment plan. It's a struggle to pay for tests, prescriptions, and to see the proper doctors.
